NASFAA Credential Workshops - Consumer Information
Thursday, March 15 - New York
Lafayette College at New York Law School
185 West Broadway, New York, NY
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
This workshop will bring all of the consumer information requirements together in one place, including required disclosures of institutional information, financial assistance information, campus and fire safety, completion and transfer-out rates, and athletics. The workshop will provide in-depth discussion with participants regarding best practices on campus for ensuring compliance with each of the consumer information requirements. Using the workshop content and the NASFAA-U Self-Study Guide on this topic, participants will be trained and qualified to take the NASFAA University credential exam on this topic at no additional cost. Consumer disclosure deficiencies represent three of the top 10 program review findings according to the Department of Education at this year's FSA Conference. Get the knowledge and materials you need to ensure your office and your institution are in compliance.
