Guiding Your Students to Financial Wellness
Tue, Jan 29, 2019 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT
This presentation will give you tips to help your students understand financial topics that they are dealing with now and in the future. The more financially literate our students are, the better their financial health will be. We’ll be discussing the wise use of credit, banking, budgeting, investing and saving for future goals, like retirement.
Presenter: Jeanne Mahan is Director of College Finance at College Coach, a division of Bright Horizons. Prior to joining College Coach, she was a financial aid counselor at Quinsigmond Community College in Worcester, MA and financial aid coordinator at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in North Grafton, MA. Jeanne has a Bachelor of Arts in French from Emmanuel College and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Worcester State University. She enjoys working with students and families on student loan repayment and financial literacy, and has developed curriculum at College Coach to provide college students, new graduates and young adults the skills needed to get on the right financial path.
